• It is mandatory to carry a negative RT PCR report for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated or single vaccinated guests . 
• The test needs to be done within 48 hours from an ICMR-approved lab before arriving Port Blair Airport .
• Upon arrival at Port Blair again an RT PCR test will be done for all 
• After the RT PCR test in Port Blair Airport the guest will have to quarantine themselves in the respective hotels until the test report is received . The report takes around 12 hours to get the report , then after that the tour will commence. So Basically Day 01 will be without any sightseeing trip. 
• All the children above the Age of 2 years need to bring an RT PCR Report 

Covid-19 Guidelines for Foreigners travelling to the Andamans

If you’re a foreigner vaccinated outside India and do not have COWIN certificates, you have to carry a negative RTPCR report from an ICMR-Approved lab. The test report will have to be no more than 48 hours old at the time of check-in. You will have to then undergo a compulsory & free RTPCR test in Port Blair on arrival. A single day quarantine in Port Blair until test results arrive is mandatory.

1. How will my travel be affected while I’m travelling on the islands?

• Beaches are open only from 10 AM to 5 PM.
• Tourists are advised to maintain a minimum of two meters distance from one another in public places.
• There will be a cap on no. of tourists allowed in the Cellular Jail and tickets will be issued online only, no physical tickets will be issued.
• Light and Sound show in Cellular Jail and Ross Island will operate at 50% capacity in order to maintain social distancing.

• The government ferries are also operational on a regular basis. The ferry schedules will have to be checked directly at the jetty since they’re subject to change.

• Do your diving course: The best instructors and dive centres are now starting to operate and this is a perfect time to learn how to dive or do the next level of your course.
